Thanks to the generous support of the Stranahan Foundation, YWCA Missoula is thrilled to introduce enhanced case management services within our Family Housing Center.
After extensive feedback from resident families and staff, it became evident that a more comprehensive approach was necessary to address the complex barriers to stable housing. With the grant funding, we’ve been able to add dedicated housing case managers to our team, providing personalized support to each family multiple times a week.
These case managers work closely with families to tackle housing-related challenges such as mental health issues, substance abuse, and document procurement. By offering targeted assistance and access to resources, we aim to significantly improve residents’ prospects for securing stable housing.
We’re immensely grateful to the Stranahan Foundation for their support, which has allowed us to expand our services and make a greater impact in our community. With these new case management services in place, we’re confident that we can better support families on their journey towards stable, permanent housing.
