What is GUTS!?
GUTS! is an outdoor adventure and leadership program designed for girls, non-binary, transgender, two-spirit, and gender-diverse youth. Through outdoor activities, teamwork, and guided discussions, participants develop confidence, leadership skills, and strong, supportive friendships—all while having an absolute blast!

This Year’s Camps
We’re offering two types of camps this year:
🚲 Outdoor Adventure Day Camps (Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM) – Groups will bike to different locations around Missoula, including community partners like Freecycles, Garden City Harvest, and Home Resource. Each day will be filled with exciting activities, outdoor exploration, and GUTS! discussions about leadership, confidence, and teamwork.

🏕️ Outdoor Adventure Camps with an Overnight Option – For those ready for a little extra adventure, these camps will include a Thursday-Friday overnight trip in addition to daily activities. Campers will spend their final night at Wildlight Yurt in Alberton, enjoying the outdoors, campfire fun, and team-building activities.

Camp Schedule
June 23 – June 27 | Incoming 5th & 6th graders
July 7 – July 11 | Incoming 5th & 6th graders (Thursday-Friday overnight option!)
July 21 – July 25 | Incoming 7th – 9th graders (Thursday-Friday overnight option!)

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Locations
Most days, campers will start and end their day at YWCA Missoula’s Meadowlark facility (1800 S. 3rd St. W.).
Tuesdays will be River Day – drop-off will be at Sha’Ron Fishing Access (1573 Speedway Ave.)
For overnight camps, Thursday drop-off will be at Petty Creek Fishing Access in Alberton, and pick-up will be Friday at noon at Wildlight Yurt in Alberton.

Why GUTS!?
At GUTS! camps, participants don’t just learn outdoor skills—they learn about themselves. They build resilience, practice leadership, and discover the strength they already have within them. Through biking, hiking, teamwork, and meaningful discussions, campers gain a deeper connection to themselves, their peers, and their community.

Spaces fill up quickly, so don’t wait—Register here now! Or reach out to Mia at mmckinney@ywcaofmissoula.org or (406) 543-6691. We can’t wait for another summer of adventure, learning, and fun!
